A few days before, there is the big news about the situation of one group of insurgents in three Southern provinces of Thailand. That is the news coming out from a significant member of Patani United Liberation Organisation (PULO), who resided in Germany many years ago. He is one of the leaders fighting against Thai authorities for decades. He said PULO is going to stop the movement abroad and would be tempting the escaped leaders of Barisan Revolusi Nasional (BRN) such as Sapaeing Basor and Masair U-seng surrender to Thai authorities with him. They intend to participate in Thai government’s ceasing the insurgency plan as a liaison.
This fact should have received many attention and criticisms very seriously. But almost no media present it, except some websites. The interesting is the fierce fighting on the sites that just a few days later after the news has spread, PULO published an article on their official site to discredit their own man and Thai government. They said the man is NOT accepted by the organization.
PULO said on the site that such action of the unaccepted member is an arbitrarily act and the action has not been approved by all of the members. It is against the Muslim nations and regardless of the overall Patani Nation. He would gain beneficial from the Government of Thailand…
That’s sound joyfully for Thais. From the wording of both parties, it can assume that the unity of them seems to shake down more than ever. After it had been previously cut of the relationship between PULO and BERSATU, this time might be a further splitting. And especially the claim that BRN leaders would be returned to their homeland for surrendering with a PULO man is like beating the top of the head over Kasturi Mahkota, who has claimed that he was vice president of PULO, and control the BRN fighter more than 80%.
It is no surprise that PULO exploded such the discredit on fellow PULO insurgency. If they let this truth leaks to those operating in the area, known as the BRN group. This will allow PULO without a harmful effect and be a lonely power just on the site.
Whether the news could be trusted or not, it will be monitoring the situation closely in the next section. But one thing to know is glass started to crack sooner or later. And there is no way to return the same anymore ... and then peace would return to the top handle of golden axe eventually.
